Mother, May I? (Brooklyn Film Festival)

When Anya starts behaving like his recently-deceased mother, Emmett must confront his deepest traumas to free his fiancee from this bewildering possession.

This was such an entraining film, I enjoyed it a ton. The leads Kyle Gallner and Holland Roden grab you and sell you on this unique story, I must say I really do love the look of this one. My only issue is with the pacing, which could be fixed, it’s not bad just a few edits that are a bit jarring, but the version I watched was a screener so I'm hoping this gets addressed before it releases, but as a slow pace horror film they really did a great.
