Simply Spooky: That Scene In Atlanta Season 2 Episode 6 ‘Teddy Perkins’

This is the fifth time I’ve watched this episode, and I always get something out of it. The unreliable narrator of Teddy, the hard to trust protagonist of Darius, and the specter that loomed over the episode in the sense of “Get Out” being the giant hit it was and the unreasonable comparison and expectation that was created.

I still wonder who is who in the grand scheme of things; Does Teddy really have a brother? Is Teddy’s father the guy in the basement? There is no easy answer come the end of this episode, which stands head and shoulders above any episode in the ‘Atlanta’ series, which pains me to pick any episode above another, but having ‘Teddy Perkins’ being a pure horror episode with tons to think about, is just so good.

But with that being said , hey, remember “That Scene In” ‘Teddy Perkins’ where the tone is set early with an ostrich egg?
