CARNAGE FOR CHRISTMAS: Fantasia Festival 2024

Killer Santa? Check! Cool story? Check! Murder? Check! A entertaining film? Nope!

Listen I’m not looking for a masterpiece here, but this was a rough film to get through. Countless awkward overlays that make little to no sense, terrible acting and a predicable ending. Other than the good stuff I talked about in the beginning, I really enjoyed the teacher character who remembers one of them were their student from back in the day. There are characters that I enjoyed, like the cop but most of the acting just wasn't there for me. Also, if you do scenes with people on a computer, a CRT filter doesn’t work and I honestly lose interest to watch, which is sad because I love slasher films.
