A Simplistic Review: Sinners (2025)

The hype is real…SINNERS is quite good, albeit a couple of gripes.

Simply put…Ryan Coogler’s latest, ‘Sinners’ is one SNAPPY flick.

There isn’t much wrong with it honestly. It’s paced and written well, has some great pay-offs, a solid cast behind the dual-performances of Michael B. Jordan, and unlike a lot of 2+ hour films that seem to drag…this one moves with great momentum without missing much from a story perspective.

You see all the money in the screen.

My only pseudo-gripe is the post credit scene. I get that it wraps up any loose ends but it is what it is. I could have done without it.

Bottom line; go in without knowing much, grab some popcorn, and have a great time with ‘Sinners.’ This film is going to be that sneaky hit that once word of mouth gets around it starts to make some real money, and in a tired cinema cycle lately, oh I don’t know, that’s a good thing.
